Kronplatz Racing Center (KRC) was born from a passion for alpine ski racing and years of experience working alongside athletes from federations around the world. Through the credibility built over the years by president Nicola Paulon, KRC established itself as a trusted partner for numerous federations in the organization of their National Championships, FIS races, and SES circuit events. A constant growth in organizational expertise, combined with a deep respect for the slopes and the territories hosting the competitions, turned every event into a successful and well-attended occasion. From this vision, in the 2021/22 season, the KRCup was born — a coordinated circuit with a dual purpose. On one hand, to give smaller federations a concrete presence in the international alpine ski landscape, ensuring them visibility on the white circuit. On the other, to answer a specific need: the athletes KRC had on its roster at that time were rising in level, and they deserved a competitive environment that matched their ambitions. This is how the KRCup National Championship came to life — not by chance, but for them. A format that in the world of alpine skiing represents the crucial stepping stone toward the Europa Cup, designed to accelerate athlete development and challenge them in high-level competitions. Over the years, the project proved to be a great success: Europa Cup athletes became regular participants, and at key moments of the season when high-level racing was needed, even World Cup athletes chose to compete at KRCup events. Over time, the KRCup has earned its own identity and full autonomy. Born as a development tool for the KRC team, it has grown into an event that stands on its own — capable of attracting top international ski racing independently, and used by KRC athletes when the calendar makes it appropriate, never as an obligation, but always as a valuable resource. A circuit built not just on organization, but on sporting vision.
